Mining School

DATAM EDU has formulated a localized model with combination of local and international trainers, with both of them acknowledged by Australian qualifications, imparting the Australian training in mining sector.

International Institute of Mining and Trade Skills (IIMTS) is a first of its kind initiative where the Queensland Government represented by Department of Education, Training & Employment through Skills Tech Australia - locally supported by DATAM EDU, is working with the State Government of Odisha and the Prime Minister’s office -National Skill Development Council to set up an internationally recognized Mining School in Odisha.


Proposed Mining Courses:

School studies cover a range of academic disciplines and vocational courses prepare you for university entry, for further training programs or to enter the workforce. The study format is a mix of directed classroom studies, extensive written assessments, formal examinations and may include common assessment tasks. Depending on course alternatives, you might also apply skills, demonstrate understandings, and undertake performance, project, group and field-work activities. There is great requirement for courses to train on the handling of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery and other heavy equipment. After an extensive research with our Australian partners, with the inputs from the industry interface, discussions with government officials and a comprehensive research, the following VET courses proposed to be delivered were shortlisted:

Vision Workforce is collaborated with SkillsTech Australia, Queensland and DATAM, India for sourcing qualified mining resources and connecting them to the industries on the outsourcing basis for employment.
